Five Major Religions
Christianity
Christianity is the belief of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. That God loved us so much that he sent his only son down from heaven to die for our sins. Holy bible is the true book of this religion. Christmas and Easter are the major holidays for this religion. Some practiced rituals are going to church, reading the bible, praying, and serving at the church. This religion is monotheistic.
Islam
Islam religion is monotheistic. Quran is the holy book of this religion. Major holidays is this religion include Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. Some highly practiced rituals are praying and going to their mosque. The Islam believes about human nature, jinn, angels, the afterlife, and their god, Allah.
Buddhism
The god of this religion is Buddha, this religion is polytheistic. Some rituals include Meditation, mantras, and mudras. A major book of this religion is the Dhammapada. A major holiday of this religion is Vesak.
Hinduism
They believe in 300 million gods, and are polytheistic. A few major holidays are holi, Diwali, and mahashivatratri. Some rituals they follow are worship and death rituals. The major book of this religion is the Vedas. The place they worship is called a Hindu temple.
Judaism
The major book of this religion is called the Tanach. In Judaism they believe that god is one, and there is only one god. Their gods name is Tetragrammaton. Judaism is also monotheistic. They go to a Shul (Jewish church) to worship god. Some rituals or practice beliefs are praying and going to a Shul. Some major holidays is this religion are Yom Kippur, and Purim.
