The Holiday Shopaganza will take place on Saturday, November 23 and will be held at the Glebe Community Centre.

There will be multiple vendors onsite. Catch up on your holiday shopping, support your local area businesses and help raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines at the same time ! Participating vendors are listed below and are updated periodically.


Admission to this event is free but we are accepting monetary donations that will be directed to the Canadian Red Cross for victims in the Philippines who were affected by the Typhoon.

FREE ADMISSION BUT MONETARY DONATIONS FOR THE CANADIAN RED CROSS ARE WELCOME !

There will be no admission fees to attend this event but we encourage you to make a donation towards the Canadian Red Cross for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. We will be accepting monetary donations that will be directed to the Canadian Red Cross.


As you know, The Philippines has been devastated by a catastrophic typhoon. Over 10,000 are feared dead in one city alone. Typhoon Haiyan – locally known as Yolanda –is the strongest typhoon to hit the Philippines in 2013. The storm has caused widespread damage, including landslides and flooding. Among the people affected are those who were left homeless by an earthquake in mid-October.

Many thanks to the following businesses who, in addition to the vendors listed below, have donated items towards our raffles. Raffle tickets will be sold from now and until the day of the event at a cost of 10 for $5. You will be able to choose which prizes to enter your name for. Contact Earleen or Cheryl to purchase your raffle tickets if you can't attend the event. Note that 100% of proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for Typhoon Hayain victims.

Members of the Filipino Community will be donating various Filipino food delicacies which will be for sale throughout the day of the event. All monies raised from the food table will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for victims of Typhoon Hayain.

Made only with the freshest highest quality ingredients, each of their creations are a reflection of their passion for unique flavour combinations, extraordinary craftsmanship, unparalleled taste and artful presentation. They have graciously offered to create some "Philippine" themed cupcakes, pastries and desserts that will be sold at our event with half of the proceeds going towards the Canadian Red Cross.

Iris will be onsite to give some mini manicures ! In exchange for this pampering, donations will be accepted towards the Canadian Red Cross.


Michelle Rodriguez, RMT

Michelle will be providing mini 10 minute massages to those who are interested ! Donations are welcome and appreciated and all monies collected will be given to the Canadian Red Cross.


Sweeter by the Dozen

Located in Ottawa East, these 2 two busy moms still make time to whip up amazing sweets. French macarons are their specialty but other sweets can be ordered upon request. Perfect for small or large events, their sweet treats not only taste delicious but look great as well. Sweeter by the Dozen will be preparing french macarons in Philippine themed flavours including ube (purple yam), macapuno (coconut), banana & mango. All proceeds from sales of these delicious treats will be forwarded to the Canadian Red Cross.
