Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa, is a densely populated located near the western-eastern Rift Valley. It has a heavy fish market and receives lots of rain.
Dispite being called a desert, the Kalahari supports more animals and plants then a true desert. The dry savana is home to acacia trees and migratory birds. In parts, it has great grazing spots for cattle.
Great Rift Valley
The varying trench stretches from 6000 feet above ground to 1300 feet bellow. It has a bountiful selection of wildlife from giraffes to flamingos. The arid rift doesn't get too hot and never goes bellow freezing, at a mild 35-30°C average throughout the year.
The vast grassland has more than 500 species of wildlife, and is the largest mammal migration in the world. It is 80% wildlife reserves, and is famous for its abundant predators. Likeep the Great Rift Valley, it has warm, mild temperatures.
