Join us for End of the Year Fun and Games!

Let's celebrate the end of another successful school year at PA Virtual! Bring your family, friends and your favorite outdoor activity! Rocky Ridge Park offers a softball/kickball field, sand volleyball court, fitness trail, Nature Fun Zone, hiking trails and scenic observation decks!

Agenda

11:00am-11:30am: Arrival, Sign In and Welcomes.

11:30am-12:30pm: Activities- Volleyball, Kickball, Games, and more! You may bring games to share as well.

12:30pm-1:00pm: Lunch- Please bring a bagged lunch for your family and PA Virtual will supply drinks, paper products and a treat!

1:00pm-1:15pm: Kindergarten recognition (Kindergarten students that are attending will be recognized).

1:15pm-1:30pm: Sign out and farewells- Have a great summer!!


Please note, one of our middle school students will be collecting donations for the YWCA of greater Harrisburg. Please bring your donations to the picnic! Click for more information about the project and what to bring: https://www.smore.com/n0hmn.

Purpose of Outing: Social

Students may record 2.5 hours of PE/LA/Science for this outing on the OLS.

Learning Objectives

Students will:


  • Get physical exercise.
  • Socialize with their peers.
  • Interact with nature.

Don't Forget:

1: In consideration of our students with serious allergies, please refrain from bringing nut (food) products and balloons.


2: As always, to limit the spread of possible flu, please do not attend a PA Virtual event if you have had a fever within 24 hours of the event.


3: For safety: All students need to be accompanied by a parent or learning coach. All students must wear shoes/sneakers for the entire school event and please refrain from bringing pets.


4: If there is a possibility of severe weather, please check Blackboard the day of the event in case the event is cancelled due to weather.


5: All PA Virtual events are tobacco free.
