COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Class of 2020
Hello Class of 2020
I am reaching out to inform you about two new ways I will be connecting with you. You will be receiving this newsletter weekly to address your academic and social emotional needs. We are in difficult times full of uncertainties and unknowns. But like the quote "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger" from the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, we will definitely come out stronger.
Also I have created a School Counseling Google classroom specifically for your academic and social emotional needs. This is separate from the postsecondary google classroom which focus is geared towards Learn.Plan.Succeed. The School Counseling Google classroom will be a safe space. Consider it as my virtual office, you can come in leave me messages with any questions or concerns, the same as when you would come to my office during school. I will also send you important information through this site. I know this feeling of uncertainty is scary but we are a Simeon family and we will get through this together.
Sincerely,
Ms. Baker
