Substitute Welcome

As some of you are well aware from being a substitute, it can be challenging to be 'the new kid in a new school'. As there are subs on your team, remember to show some Falcon hospitality. :) Introduce yourselves, invite them to the teachers' lunch room for lunch, pop in to see if they need assistance, make sure they know where everything is in the room, etc. And as always, please let us know in the office if we can assist them in any way. The more we are willing to assist, the more likely we are to have substitutes return to FCI. Thanks!

ISTEP exposure

Jeff Harrison shared out 3 different ways to preview ISTEP content and expose students to it. They are listed below. Please get with Jessica or me if you have any questions or have trouble accessing it.

  1. If you would like teachers to preview the content for ISTEP you have three options:
    1. Go to this URL: http://download.pearsonaccessnext.com/IN/in-practice-tests-links.html (it may or may not work depending on the browser)
    2. Go to the lab and launch the TestNav software and click on “Practice Tests” in the lower right of the box (after clicking on Indiana if prompted)
    3. Have them download the TestNav app on their iPad, click Indiana when prompted and then choose “Practice Tests” in the lower right of the sign in box.
