Irmo High School International School for the Arts

We bring our A Game to all we do in Academics, the Arts, Athletics, Attendance and Attitude by promoting the 3 R's - being Respectful, Responsible and Reputable.

A Message from our #ProudPrincipal, Dr. Robin Hardy

Dear Yellow Jackets,

Irmo High School is committed to providing a caring culture of high expectations for all students. We will operate on a 2 hour delayed schedule on Monday, September 27, 2021. We also will move from Level Orange to Level Yellow per the D5 COVID-19 Dashboard for the upcoming week (visit for details). Please make note of the following information and expectations to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment:

As we look forward to celebrating homecoming festivities this week, students still should be dressed for success, wearing their school ID and abiding by our district dress code policy. Senior portraits will continue as scheduled on Monday. Seniors who have an appointment prior to the start of the school day should provide their own transportation and enter at the front of the school. Parents/Guardians wishing to attend the sitting must sign in at the main office. Also, buses will run their regular morning schedule to the Center for Advanced Technical Studies.

Parents are asked to be mindful of their child's social media posts and exposure. Talk with your child about his/her knowledge and experiences with the nationwide trend calling for students to destroy school property, as well as any cyberbullying and threats for which they have knowledge. Students may utilize the StopIt app to anonymously report concerns.

We remain united in our effort to promote quality teaching and learning at Irmo High School. Do not hesitate to contact me directly if I may be of support to you and your child.

With Irmo Pride,

Dr. Robin L. Hardy
