On March 6, an email from Region XI will provide a link to the online survey, which will be available through March 24. The survey is limited to one response per employee, but responses will remain anonymous, with no identifying information provided to the district. Thank you in advance for your participation to help our district strive for continuous improvement.

It is illegal for an employee to advocate for or against the bond election during working hours or using school resources.
· Penalties for violating this provision go up to a $4,000 fine and a year in jail.
· The Texas Ethics Commission views the prohibition on using school resources for political advertising broadly. It includes direct and indirect costs. For example, political advertising should not be done using District email accounts, official school Facebook and Twitter pages, school computers, and school facilities. Speeches given at school events should be purely factual and avoid telling people to vote a particular way. Even implying that someone should vote a particular way (“Take a stand for our kids’ future.”) could be a violation of this provision.
· Information provided by school staff during working hours and/or using school resources must be purely factual.
