All School Virtual & In Person Dance 3/18 & 3/19

On Thursday, March 18th and Friday, March 19th we will be hosting an all school dance. Like most things this year it will be a little different as we continue to work within our layers of protection. Our virtual learners will be able to join us for the virtual event, and the in-person students will remain within their cohort groups. We will update our Virtual Announcement slide with the necessary links the morning of the dance!

Please encourage your student to participate in this creative way for engagement with each other. We are grateful for the 6th grade students and the WEB leaders for helping to organize and pursue this option!

Parent Survey Open Now – April 5th

This school year has been filled with a number of new ways of doing things and adapting to the needs of our community. We remain committed to our school mission of “Developing Hearts & Minds” and want to hear from you. We would appreciate it if you could take a few moments to complete our Spring parent/guardian survey. Your feedback is a vital resource as we continue to develop and plan for the future. You can complete the survey by clicking HERE.

Principal's Message

Dear Royal Families,

As we reach the one year anniversary of last year's abrupt stay at home orders, we are grateful for your support during this school year. While we may not be privy to every single challenge you and your family have faced in the last year, we are grateful to partner alongside you in Developing Hearts and Minds. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to meet with many of you during conferences. We hope you are able to stay safe during this snow storm!

CMAS: Over the past few days you have received a letter regarding state testing. While we are still awaiting what the state will decide, you may have questions or want to change the opt-in/out status for your child. Please contact Mr. Marlatt at kmarlatt@sd27j.net for any questions you may have. To change the opt-in/out status, please contact Ms. Vang at bvang@sd27j.net.

Attendance: Please continue to call in your student's absences. All absences, even absences for remote classes, need to be called in using our attendance line, 303-655-6950. Thank you so much for your help with this.

We appreciate you and thank you for your partnership! We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Trina Norris-Buck, Ed.S.

Quist is Hiring

Have you ever thought about becoming part of the Quist Staff Team? We have openings for paraprofessionals in our building. If you have any questions about these jobs, please do not hesitate to reach out.

You can find the full descriptions of these jobs HERE. Use the link to the School-Based Support Staff.

In-Person & Remote Absences

Part of our ability to ensure the safety and wellness of our students and staff requires that we monitor when students are absent for any reason. If your student is going to miss a day of instruction, whether it be on an in-person day or a virtual learning day, we need to have documentation as to their attendance. If we do not have information regarding their attendance, you will receive a phone call from the school.

If your child is experiencing any of the symptoms related to Covid-19, please fill out THIS TRACKING FORM. For all other absences, please call our attendance line at 303-655-6950 Option 1.
