pure substance- Pure water cannot be separated into other chemically distinct substances without performing a chemical reaction, which means breaking and forming bonds between atoms.
Mixture- a substance made by mixing other substances together.
Examples
Pure substance - carbon, iron, water, sugar, salt,nitrogen gas, and oxygen gas.
Mixture- Oil and water, Lemon juice and tea, Honey and tea, Milk and chocolate, Coffee and cream
