Branagan's Bulletin
Week of March 20 - 24, 2023
Welcome Back!
Hello MHS,
I hope you had a great weekend.
So much to be grateful for this week as we come off an exciting week at MHS! First, a HUGE shout-out to the Performing Arts Program for hosting the annual SEMSBA Music Festival this past weekend at MHS. The event was awesome and it was so great to open our home to some amazing talent for a weekend of music and song. Job Well Done!! Also, a note of congratulations to all of our winter athletes who were celebrated last week for an outstanding season for the Sachems. I am excited for our spring season to begin as this season marks the sign of great weather and the chance to use our full facility as the tennis courts and JV Softball come to completion. Exciting times ahead for Sachem Athletics!
I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for the feedback you gave to us during the Advisory last week in regard to our Vision of the Graduate. Our Vision of the Graduate will guide our work as we engage all of our students with the important skills to enter the world after graduation with everything you need to find success in whatever path you choose. Your feedback was outstanding! The voice of our students is critical to the growth of our school and to ensure that every student who enters our school belongs. I personally want to thank each of you for the feedback and your input on the skills that you think are imperative for success as you graduate. Thank you! I think the graphic below reflects the important work you did during Advisory on Wednesday.
A great week ahead for MHS!
Can't wait to see you!
Have a great week!

Math MCAS Prep Course - Begins February 1, 2023
Mrs. Salamone and Mr. Darling will host an afternoon MCAS Prep class for all Sophomores. The MCAS Review Course will be held every Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00pm in Room C267. The Review Course will begin February 1, 2023.
As we approach the MCAS test date, or if demand dictates, more afternoon sessions will be scheduled.
The primary goal will be to refresh the student’s Algebra skills and to practice using the Geometry Formula Sheet to solve problems. We will use previous MCAS test questions to ensure the students are aware of the language used. We will also offer different test taking strategies that will be helpful during the test.
Mrs. Salamone and Mr. Darlin have created a Google Classroom to allow all students to take advantage of practice tests, videos or other materials if they can not attend during live sessions. The code to join is th4ymoc. Join Today!!!
