Albert and his secretary, and long-time girlfriend, Rosie hatch a plan to send Conrad to small-town America to sing his final song plant his goodbye kiss on one lucky fan for the entire world to see. Their selection of super fan Kim MacAfee sends the wholesome enclave of Sweet Apple, Ohio into chaos. Kim’s boyfriend, Hugo, can’t take the humiliation of his lady love’s televised lip-lock. Rose can’t take another minute of Albert’s distracted ways. And Sweet Apple can’t take its teens' riotous rebellion, inspired by the arrival of bad-boy Birdie. Will Sweet Apple ever be the same?

NJHS Book Drive
This year the National Junior Honor Society has decided to partner with Cradles to Crayons, an organization that provides necessities for children and infants who are living in poverty. To support this group we will be running a Children’s Book Drive From March 10-March 14. We are asking that resource teachers collect any donations; the resource with the most books collected will receive a popcorn party from the NJHS.
There are some guidelines regarding the types of books requested:
· Books should be appropriate for children between the ages of 0-12 years old.
· Books should be in good condition - “quality that a child would be proud to own.”
· Books should have no religious connotation, as religious affiliation is not information that Cradles to Crayons knows.
You can view a flyer here. We thank you for your support.
PSSA Exams and Cellphones and Electronic Devices
If a student is discovered using and/or having a cell phone or other electronic device in his or her possession during the administration of the PSSA, parents will be notified and appropriate consequences will be given. The student could receive both school and Pennsylvania Department of Education consequences, which may include scores being invalidated and/or a fine to replace test items. All testing materials are copyrighted property of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Penalties for violations of the Copyright Act may include the cost of replacing the compromised test item(s) or fines of no less than $750 up to $30,000 for a single violation. 17 U.S.C 101 et seq.
2013-2014 Lenape Yearbook
The Lenape 2013-2014 Yearbook is in the process of being designed, and we could use your help! Mrs. Spiece and I have signed on for our first year as Lenape’s yearbook co-advisors. We have been working hard to collect photos for this year, but we could always use a hand.
If you would like to contribute photos to this year’s yearbook, we would be happy to take them. It’s always better to have too many. If you have any photos of your child participating in school events, please feel free to send them along to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance for your help and contributions!
Yearbooks can be purchased for $35 and the sale ends on April 4th. Students can bring their order to the main office. The 2013-2014 Lenape M.S. Yearbook Order Form can be found here.
