Principal's Post
We've done it! It is the end of the school year. We have had a remarkable 180 days together. We've made new friends, learned new things, braved the flu, and enjoyed a bit of an early spring all before shifting our entire worlds to our houses. Thank you for all that you have done parents to support our efforts at home. Thank you for not letting up on doing some kind of work each school day--even when you might have been met with grumpy faces and tears (I'm speaking from experience on this one from the two at my house, I can only imagine that your experiences might be similar). Thank you for encouraging and expecting reading every day. Continuing that over the summer will be monumental for your children. Please don't stop that. Thank you for finding time for your child to get on as many zoom meetings as you could and if you couldn't, thanks for still checking Dojo and still remaining connected with your teachers. Congratulations to all of our lions for your hard work and dedication to make sure that you are making Lincoln the "Best in Town"! Our students truly are the most wonderful, hard working, and kind students in Kingsport. We love them dearly and look forward to when we can be together again. Have a wonderful summer, READ, and be safe!
We will see you in August!
Congratulations To Our 5th Graders!

Message to the Chess Club and those who love chess
Hello Chess (and checkers) clubbers,
I’ve missed you guys and am soooo sad we never got to our spring chess tournament - I hope you had fun playing and learning during our hour a week together. I’ll miss you 5th graders next year but I hope you’ll all rejoin us when we start back around Labor Day. To keep in practice tell your parents there are lots of free chess apps out there like Chess Free and even Battle Chess - I know with Chess Free you give yourself an ID name and you can invite others to play you virtually - otherwise just get a board and find a way to play with your Lincoln friends over the summer
