Sweep up broken glass
Sweeping the broken glass allows you to not cut yourself. If you do need to pick up the glass, use a wet paper towel.
Always use sharp knives
Always use sharp knives because they cut a lot easier. Then you aren't straining to cut anything and slip up. Also, if you KNOW a knife is sharp, you are gonna be extra careful so you don't cut yourself.
Don't catch falling knifes
If you drop a knife, the first instinct is to catch it. DO NOT DO THAT. Let it fall otherwise you may end up cutting yourself.

First Aid for Cuts
Over 137,000 people receive hospital treatment for injuries from kitchen knives per year.
For severe cuts, put a wet towel on the wound and apply pressure.
For less major cuts, wash your hands and blot dry. Then put a bandaid on.
