Library Media Matters
Liberty High School Library Spring 2017
The library staff looks forward to working with you and your students this spring!
We are here to serve you!
Take advantage of the many services the library has to offer. Sign up for classroom time in the library for research projects, presentation creations, and book talk from the librarians. We also offer library orientations that are excellent for freshman or new students, database presentations to assist students and staff with features of our databases, and lessons on copyright and plagiarism. Speak to a librarian about making a resource list for your class in our catalog and also creating pathfinders to assist your students with research projects (a sample pathfinder is below). Students can also learn about different presentation tools and creating digital portfolios. The library space is a learning commons for you and your students ... take advantage of it!
We want your recommendations!
Gotta love technology ...
- 3 Kajeet Wifi hotspots
- 10 portable DVD players
- 5 external DVD drives
- mobile lab with 24 chromebooks (reserve via your outlook calendar)
- 10 Nexus tablets and 9 Lenova tablets (reserve via your outlook calendar)

Having trouble with your projector? Please put in a SysAid work order and have a back up plan for your lesson. To prolong the life of your projector, clean the filter at least once a month using a soft bristle brush or canned air and turn off the bulb when not in use.
