Sydnee A. 2nd Period

What was the change?

The scientific revolution was a very big change during the time period of 1550 - 1700. The scientific revolution was the change from religion to science. People wanted to discover how the earth was made rather than who created it. One can assume that the people of the time started to depend mainly on science. Ultimately, the scientific revolution was the most important revolution of all time.

Who were the people associated with the change?

How did the change impact society at the time?

The scientific revolution impacted the entire society at the time. for example, a new view of nature emerged that took the place Greek view of began in astronomy stressed "how" instead of "why". This change also changed the view from geocentric to heliocentric. This is important because if scientist would have never thought of the world in a different way then the people would've had very minimum knowledge on the universe.

Ultimately the scientific revolution made a positive impact on the society at that time.

how is that change evident in today's modern society?

The scientific revolution contributed to an abundance of today's modern society. For example, the scientific revolution impacted optics, electricity, magnification, and chemistry. One can assume, that without the scientific revolution we wouldn't have a majority of the technology we have today. This shows that the scientific revolution was a important event that occurred in history. Clearly, without the scientific revolution today's modern society wouldn't be the same.
