Your lady Cougars opened up district play with a big win against Eastern Hills! Your Lady Cougars would win the game 20-3! Lauren Beckham had a great showing on the rubber, only allowing one hit, followed by a strong offensive being led by seniors Lauren Beckham and Priscilla Rivers who both had multiple RBIs. Our work isn’t done yet as Diamond Hill comes to town for the district home opener this Friday. This is a big game for your Lady Cougars, we would love to pack the stands! We will have noise makers available to our home crowd! So come out and be LOUD!
As always, the game will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Thank you for all you do for our girls, hope to see you out there on Friday night!

Yesterday, football players and volleyball went to North Hi Mount to read to the students. They went during their athletic period, so they didn't miss any of their academic classes. I was sent these pictures by Ms. Weeks and Coach Lisenbee, because my daughter is the one reading in the picture.
I noticed my friend's son in the picture. I reached out to her. She said, "As soon as he got into the car, he said it was the best day because big kids came and read to them."
What a wonderful opportunity for young learners to see high school athletes supporting literacy. Win win!
Things are happening in the Heights Pyramid. Thank you, Sarah and Laura!
