Magnets to Megahertz Course at the Pavek Museum

Beginning October 29th, the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting in St. Louis Park is offering 'Magnets to Megahertz', a six-week Saturday morning course that teaches participants about the fundamentals that make radio work. Participants will learn about the various properties of electronic circuits, like voltage, current and resistance. The students also study electric and magnetic fields, and use this knowledge to build a telegraph system and an electric motor. The link to the Pavek Museum is listed below and the phone number is 952-926-8198. This course is the first semester in a two part series. The first two weeks are free to try, and the cost for the entire six weeks is $150.00.

Fall Celebration

It's hard to believe that the end of October is nearing! On October 28th, from 2:00-3:00 PM, our class will be having a fall celebration. If you are interested in donating food (peanut-free) or drinks for our celebration, there is a SignUp Genius link below. If you would like to donate cash (no more than $5.00), that would also be accepted, but is completely optional. At this time, we will not need volunteers to assist with our celebration. Thank you!
