February Students of the Month
A shield provides protection to the one who bears it. Aquin Schools strive to provide each student with a shield of Responsibility, Respect, Faith, Leadership, Service, Knowledge and Character. Each month from October through April, Aquin is recognizing three students who display the month’s quality of the shield. Students are nominated by staff and faculty at both campuses and then selected by Administration. Winners are awarded a coveted 'Free Jean Day' coupon!
Leadership is February's shield and Aquin Schools are proud to announce their ‘Students of the Month’ for February: Senior High--Chase McDermott, Junior High--Meghan Carlisle, Elementary--Paityn London.
If you are interested in learning more about Aquin’s ‘Guardian of the Shield’ sponsor program, or want to learn more about joining the Aquin family, please contact Laura at 815-235-3154 x 226.
Good Job Little DAWGS!
- "Just wanted to express kudos to the children in the St. Joe's playground area who knelt as we passed by on Walnut while in a funeral procession over the lunch hour today. Way to go Little DAWGS!"
Congrats Art Award Winners!
On Friday, the Freeport Art Museum opened their 2020 Aspiring Artist show with a reception and awards ceremonies. We are very happy to report that, just like last year, Aquin Artists brought home an award in each category--Way To Go DAWGS and Jays!
Congratulations to our award winners and to all who were chosen to be in the exhibition!
