REMINDER — No School This Wednesday, May 8

This Wednesday, May 8, there is NO SCHOOL for all West Linn-Wilsonville schools. It is a full Professional Growth Wednesday for teachers.


Wednesday, May 22, is an early release, Professional Growth Wednesday for the PRIMARY LEVEL only. Middle and High School students (with the exception of Arts and Technology High School) will have a full day of school on May 22. View the updated 2018-19 school calendar on the district website.

Provide Us With Your 2019-20 Budget Feedback

The West Linn-Wilsonville Budget Committee held its first Budget Committee meeting on April 22. The second Budget Committee will take place on Monday, May 13 beginning at 5 p.m. at the District Office; 22210 SW Stafford Road, Tualatin. Budget Committee meetings are open to the public.


Community members can read the 2019-20 Superintendent's Budget Message ahead of time, as well as provide input regarding budget priorities by filling out an online survey. The survey will remain open through May 8 and feedback will be provided to Budget Committee members ahead of the May 13 meeting. There will be a public comment opportunity during the May 13 meeting.

West Linn-Wilsonville District Art Show Set for May 18!

The West Linn-Wilsonville District Art Show will be held on Saturday, May 18 at Arts and Technology High School from 4-8 p.m. Support our student artists and enjoy a fun afternoon of art, live music, food, ice cream, and more!
The Districtwide Art Show will be held on May 18 at Arts and Technology High School.

Long List of Facility Upgrades to Take Place This Summer

Thanks to our supportive community, West Linn-Wilsonville schools continue to receive improvements from the 2014 Capital Bond. Careful planning and responsible budgeting have ensured that the projects outlined in that Capital Bond continue to be completed on time and on budget.   • Softball Field Lighting at Wilsonville High School
  • Crosswalk Flasher power, track upgrades, bleacher replacement at West Linn High School
  • Track replacement at Wood Middle School
  • Tennis Court Resurfacing at West Linn and Wilsonville high schools
  • Flooring replacement at Cedaroak Park Primary
  • Music Room at Bolton Primary
  • New playground and wall panel replacement at Boeckman Creek Primary
  • Courtyard entryway at Wood Middle School
  • Site improvements at Rosemont Ridge Middle School
  • New wrestling mats at Athey Creek Middle School
  • And more!

Regular School Board Meeting: May 6 — The West Linn-Wilsonville School Board will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 6 beginning at 6 p.m. in the District Office; 22210 SW Stafford Road, Tualatin.


No School, Full Professional Growth Wednesday workday: May 8 — Wednesday, May 8 will be a full Professional Growth Wednesday. There will be no school for students.


Budget Committee Meeting: May 13 — The West Linn-Wilsonville Budget Committee will hold its first meeting on Monday, May 13 beginning at 6 p.m. in the District Office; 22210 SW Stafford Road, Tualatin. This meeting is open to the public.


Budget Committee Meeting (Tentative): May 16 — The West Linn-Wilsonville School Board and Budget committee may hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 16 beginning at 5 p.m. depending on the May 13 Budget Committee meeting. If the Budget Committee finishes working with the 2019-20 Budget Proposal and is ready to present it to the School Board for final discussion and adoption, this meeting will not take place. It is open to the public.


Professional Growth Wednesday PRIMARY LEVEL ONLY: May 22 — Wednesday, May 22 is an early release, Professional Growth Wednesday for the PRIMARY LEVEL only. All primary schools will let out 2 hours early. Middle and High Schools will release at their normal times.
