You need to make sure your Wi-Fi is secure. You do this by adding a password to your Wi-Fi. It should be a secure password with lots of numbers, letters and punctuation.
Anti virus software
You need anti virus software in case your computer is given a virus from something. A few examples would be Norton, AVG and Avast. to download this simply go to the website of this software.
Safety on Social Networking Sites
You need to be safe on social networking sites as there are lots of people out there that may want to attack you or rob you. You should not talk to strangers and should never accept a video call if you don't want to. Do not reveal personal information where other can see it.
Scare ware
Scare ware is a popup which comes onto your computer saying you have a virus. Generally, it will want you tp pay for some anti virus software to get rid of the virus. Check your own anti virus software and firewall first before purchase as it is normally a scam.
Bluetooth
You need to switch off your bluetooth if you are not using it. This is because you may have your phone hacked and your credit stolen or a virus put onto your phone.
Internet Banking
When Internet banking you need to be secure. HSBC for example has the password changer which gives you a new password everytime. Some banks do not have this though,and are less secure for internet banking so you should have a good password.
