COVID-19 Antigen Testing & Spring State Testing
LFHS UPDATES
This newsletter is FULL of important and timely information. The first section is on Covid-19 Antigen Testing being offered here on Monday, April 12th to all our athletes and nonathletes from 7:30AM -8:30AM in the Auditorium. Please read below for details!
The second half of this newsletter is specific to our Spring state testing schedule for Tuesday, April 13th and Wednesday, April 14th for all underclassmen. Please read through the schedules that pertain to your child for each day of testing. Juniors are the only students who will attend BOTH days of testing, unless your child takes a special accomodated test.
For students who are fully remote, we do encourage you to participate in state testing, but for this year, are not mandated to attend. Students who are blended or fully face to face are expected to test. Please keep in mind that all students will be 6 foot socially distanced in all classrooms for testing purposes and will follow all safety protocols. Finally, if your child cannot be in attendance for their testing session due to quarantine or other extenuating circumstances, we will be offering makeup test sessions starting on April 27th.
During both testing days, students will not be required to log into Google Meets for classes. Teachers may still post useful information to prepare for Thursday's regular classroom schedule, but no assignments or due dates will be scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday.
As always, we are here to help answer your questions if you call our office at (810)591-9591.
Thank you and have a great day!

ATTENTION SENIORS
Thursday, April 15th, VIRTUAL Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 15th from 5:00-7:30PM. This year they are fully virtual using the Google Meet for Education platform. If you feel that a conference is needed with any of our teachers, we are asking all families to schedule conferences through our ParentVue system. Below is a link to a short instructional video which will walk you through how to book your parent/teacher conference using ParentVue and also how to access the Google Meet conference links. If you click on the email function in ParentVue, you will get an email of your scheduled links for one stop conferencing.
Please make sure to stagger your conference times by at least 10 minutes so that you are ready for the next one on time. Conferences are scheduled for five minute increments and teachers will be ready to roll at the start. You will be housed in a Google Meet waiting room and admitted into the meeting at your scheduled time. If you feel that you will need additional time, please contact individual teachers to meet with them virtually at another date. Many teachers are available for Google Meet conferencing on Fridays or after school from 2:00-2:50PM.
