Welcome Back to the 4th Quarter!
Saint Rita Families,
I hope you have enjoyed time during spring break with your family. There are many activities coming in the next nine weeks. We are currently in the second week of Lent, and I have attached some information to this newsletter with suggested activities for families during the Lenten Season. Lent is a a time of focusing on our relationship with Jesus. We strengthen this relationship through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. This week, your child will bring home a rice bowl - one of the activities mentioned in the attachments. Talk to your child about small sacrifices he or she can make to give to those in need.
Wednesday, report cards will go home with students, and third quarter convocation will be held after the 8 am Mass on Friday. Also this week, our baseball team will play the first two games of the season at Saint Andrew on Tuesday and Holy Family on Thursday. Come out and support our Wildcat team!
Have a blessed week!
