PTO Food Truck Night and Community Meeting

Monday, Sep. 17th, 5pm

325 South Kenilworth Avenue

Oak Park, IL

Take the night off from making dinner and join us on Monday, September 17 for some great food and our first Brooks Community meeting. Several food trucks will outside from 5:00pm - 6:30pm (pay as you go), then stay for our first Brooks Community meeting at 7:00 and learn more about Canvas, Power School, and technology at Brooks. Free child care will be available for the meeting. More information can be found here!
Curriculum Night Resources Shared by Teachers

Please open the grade level folder for your child. The teachers have been asked to upload the their Curriculum Night information to their grade level folder. If you don't see your student's teacher's information, please reach out to that teacher.

Internet Filtering Outside of District

With the addition of Securely, middle school students with have the cloud based filtering on their devices inside and outside of the district. This takes place once the students login to their Chromebook.

This year we will also be rolling out the Securly Parent Portal to families. We have piloted with a handful of families over the last two years and received positive feedback. Here is a link to more information about the Parent Portal. If you are interested in using the Securly Parent Portal please complete this form. More information to come to staff and families in the coming weeks.

Recognizing Staff who Make a Difference

If you or your student would like to recognize any staff member (a teacher, a teacher assistant, social worker, librarian, front office staff, lunchroom staff, custodial staff or school administrator) please take a moment to complete this form. The staff member will receive a certificate detailing the information shared through this form.

  • Ulmtimate Frisbee Clubs - Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30 to 4:30pm. Meets on the field. Contact Mr. Gillespie with questions
