human rights in china
no one should be able to tell you how to live your life
what happens when human rights are abused
The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.
(John F. Kennedy)
China's One Child Policy
The one-child policy is the population control policy of China. It restricts urban couples to one child, but allows other couples to have more than one. It was introduced in 1979 to help control China's population. However, claim it is responsible for forced abortions and China's sex imbalance.
Partly due to international critism, China has been less strict about inforcing the policy and that the policy would remain unaltered until at least 2015.
