Summer Reading Programs
The 5 Cranston Public Libraries have teamed together to give your students a summer full of free activities, including the Summer Reading Program.
- Registration begins Monday, June 17th.
- Trees will be planted in Cranston based on how much your student reads!
- Students who join the Summer Reading Program will get all of their previous fines deleted. Get fresh start for the summer!

Library Cards
Library cards are free and work throughout the state of Rhode Island. Students just need an adult with an ID to sign up! Library cards get your student FREE access to:
- Books
- eBooks & Audiobooks
- DVDs
- Video Games
- Databases
- Library Programs for ALL ages
- Free/Discounted Museum Passes
- Internet Access
- Air Conditioning!!!
