THE WARRIOR WEEKLY
JANUARY 30TH, 2017
THE "GRIND"
We all know we can't give up, we can't keep finding excuses, and we can't just punch the clock. What we have to do is find that spark of energy we had when we started the year. We know we can't look into those eyes of our first period students to find the spark, because those eyes are looking at us for their spark.
The "grind" tries to take the spark away from you. The "grind" can take the form of a student, parent, colleague, or administrator, whom, with one comment or action can extinguish your spark. We can't let others extinguish our spark. We can't allow this time of year to take away the spark of energy that has allowed us to chip away at the walls! I plan to do my best to not let others extinguish my spark, and to continue to "KNOCK DOWN THE WALLS!" I hope each of you are with me! Let's continue to tell our story and continue the tradition of an amazing school! #WDpride
