Spring has finally sprung and I am keeping my fingers crossed for warm, sunny weather! I know we are all feeling a little bit of spring fever, but with so little time left in the school year, we have to continue working hard and keep our focus. There is still much to learn! We have certainly done hard things this year, and it is something to be proud of for sure. This last quarter of the school year is just as important as the others, if not more so. Encourage your child to continue working hard at school, and keep reading each night!
Classroom Notes and Reminders
Attestation Forms-
**IMPORTANT**
Before signing these forms each day, please be sure you have carefully read the whole form.
Thank you for completing this every morning!
Assignment Books-
Please check your child's assignment book each night and initial it. I check these each morning for signatures and special notes from you.
Reading Homework-
Reading with your child each night is one of the best ways you can help them grow as a reader. Even if your child prefers reading alone, asking them about what they read is a great way to check in on their comprehension skills. Please be sure your child is reading every night.
Math Homework-
After Christmas Break, we added a tiny bit of math homework for each night. Students will be practicing skip counting. The expectation is that they skip count aloud while an adult listens. If they make a mistake, tell them the correct number, and have them start at the beginning and try again.
