Hope you are having a great summer!

Our summer assignments will help students extend their learning and help keep them engaged and on track to be successful next school year!


Below you will find information on how to complete the required Math and Reading summer assignments for all 6th-8th grade students. Directions can be found via BLEND. Paper copies of assignments may be picked up at Sadler Means. Please call 512- 414- 3234 to schedule a time to pick up materials. Chromebook exchange appointments will begin on July 18th.

If your student is still having trouble logging in to access summer assignments, please contact the AISD Help Desk: https://www.austinisd.org/technology/help



If you are a new student to AISD you may encounter issues accessing the AISD BLEND platform. Students may schedule a time to pick up paper copies of the assignments by calling the campus at 512-414-3234.



In order to support needs with Austin ISD devices over the summer, there will be two locations for families to bring devices in need of repair to swap for a replacement.


  • North Location, Gus Garcia YMLA (gymnasium)

    • 10 am - 2 pm on June 22 & 29 and July 13, 20, & 27

  • South Location, Cunningham Elementary (cafeteria)

    • 10 am - 2 pm on June 23 & 30 and July 14, 21, & 28

Campus Technology Support

Starting on July 18th, students may call 512-414-3234 to schedule an appointment to exchange broken devices. New device requests will take place during Transition Camp, our Back to School Event, and during the 1st week of school.

Instructional Support

Teachers are currently on summer break and will not be available to answer instructional questions for the summer assignments. Please do the best that you can to complete the assignments by showing your work, and thought process, and being prepared for the next school year. Please bring all questions about summer assignments with you on the 1st week of school.
