Central Park East II

Week of April 4 , 2016

Testing, testing, please take note.

Grades 3 through 6 will have ELA (English Language Arts) testing this week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. ALL FAMILIES, testing or not testing, all grades, should arrive on time on these days. Students arriving late will be stopped at the entrance to the 4th floor. Parents should remember that they should never escort their children to the classrooms, but be particularly aware of the importance of testing conditions in the school for both 104th and 108th Street locations.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. anniversary of his death

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed on April 4th, 1968. We must keep in mind our mission to raise children who know they should and can make a difference in our world.

“We must learn that passively to accept an unjust system is to cooperate with that system, and thereby to become a participant in its evil.” --- MLK
