⭐️🌟Constellations🌟⭐️
Leo, Virgo and Pegasus!
Constellations?
What are constellations used for?
A practical use for constellations was agriculture. Before there were actual calendars, people had was no way of determining when to sow, or harvest except by the stars. Constellations made the patterns of the stars easy to remember. The ancient peoples knew for example, when the constellation, Orion, began to fully appear in the night sky, winter was coming soon. They could look at the Sommer Triangle to know when summer or Spring were approaching. The stars allowed farmers to plan ahead and form agriculture.
Navigation
Constellations also help with navigation. It is fairly easy to spot Polaris(The North Star) once you've found Ursa Minor(The Little Dipper). One can find out their latitude by looking at how high Polaris appears in the night sky. This allowed ships to travel across the globe.
Leo Virgo Pegasus
Leo
Leo is also a Zodiac sign. Leos are very independent, but they need something to control and someone to admire them and appreciate them. They are fully capable of being greatly successful on their own, but they are much happier if they have and audience and a following of people who look up to them. Leo's would prefer not to be alone.
Virgo
The second largest constellation and can be seen from the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
Virgo has been recognised as a constellation for over 3000 years.
Many planets have been discovered orbiting some stars in the constellation.
It is the largest constellation of the Zodiac.
In the Southern Hemisphere, Virgo will appear upside down.
Virgo is based on a story of the young female Greek mythological character Erigone.
Virgo, as well as being a constellation, is a Zodiac sign. Virgos are very independent Zodiac signs. They are fully able to put their intelligence to use and get things done for themselves. It is possible, however, that their narrow mindedness causes their creativity to suffer, and they may lead regular routine lives. They may dwell too much on the past and over complicate things, this may limit their ability to move forward and confuse them. In conclusion, Virgos are able to be independent, but the less evolved types will have difficulty if someone is not ther e helping them to achieve more and not be so critical of themselves.
Pegasus
Pegasus's name comes from a winged white horse that was the sire of posedien in Greek mythology.
In the Southern Hemisphere Pegusus will appear upside down, but in the north Hemisphere, it will appear right way up.
Pegasus is a large constellation and easily is identified due to its bright asterism known as the 'Square of Pegasus'.
In the northern hemisphere Pegasus can be viewed from July to January.
In the Southern Hemisphere Pegasus can be viewed from August to December.
