Veterans Day

On Nov 11, we welcomed veterans and current military members to our school. We are so thankful for the sacrifice, courage and service of these men and women. It was our privilege to honor them and to help our students understand about the importance of Veterans Day. Sauder Elementary is proud to be a Purple Star school. The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Thanksgiving Break

We will have Thanksgiving Break from Wednesday, November 24 - Monday, November 29. Enjoy your time with your family, and we will see everyone back at school on Tuesday, November 30.

Interim Grades

Friday, November 19 marks the midpoint for the second grading period. Thank you for your continued support as we move through the 21-22 year school year. Please remember to check your child’s grades in the Home Access Center or HAC.

PTG’s Me & My Gal Adventure

This year’s Me & My Gal event will take place at the North Canton Skate & Entertainment Center on Sunday November 21st! Sauder Boys and their special adult Gals are invited to an evening of roller skating, laser tag, bumper cars, and arcade fun! Please see this flyer for event information. November Counselor Newsletter

Wheelchair Basketball

Jackson Local Schools is pleased to offer a competitive wheelchair basketball team for students with physical disabilities. The season runs from November through early March. For more information, click on the flyer link.

Project Retread

It is time to clean out those closets and donate to Project RETREAD! The following new and used items are being collected in all sizes:
  • Cleats, tennis shoes, running shoes
  • Shin guards
  • Athletic bags
  • Bats
  • Baseball mitts
  • Batting helmets
  • Baseballs
  • Softballs

A collection box will be in the lobby of our building until November 19. Please end your items in a bag marked Project Retread.

Bus Transportation

We encourage parents to download the "MyStop" app for monitoring their child(ren)'s bus route and to receive push notifications.
