What Will We Be Learning This Week??
Writing: We will begin brainstorming about characters, settings, problems, and solutions for our realistic fiction stories.
Phonics/Grammar: We will practice with long vowel sounds and adjectives.
Math: We will generate a number that is greater or less than a given number up to 1,000. We will use place value to compare and order whole numbers up to 1,000 using comparative language, numbers, and symbols (>,<,=).
Social Studies: We will explain the significance of various community, state, and national celebrations, such as Thanksgiving, through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Science: We will investigate the way sound energy affects objects. We will collect data about the effects of sound energy using scientific tools and record is using pictures and words.

- November 20th - Substitute Appreciation Day
