As We Wrap Up First Semester...

Dear Families,

As we close out the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year, I just want to thank you for being our educational partners. We have been through a lot of changes and sometimes have had to pivot abruptly as things have unfolded quickly. Your patience and flexibility, as we work through this trying year, has made all the difference for our students and our staff. I encourage you to continue to reach out if you have concerns, suggestions, or questions as we continue to demonstrate that we are Oasis Strong.

Sincerely,

MaryBeth Grecsek

Temperature Checks

The Oasis schools are discontinuing the taking of temperatures prior to the start of the school day (AM carline, bus/walker arrival). We have not found this measure to be effective for detecting positive cases. The CDC has also determined that it is not an effective mitigation measure.

Oasis continues to encourage families to monitor all symptoms that could be related to COVID prior to coming to school each morning. Your proactive actions are our greatest and most effective contribution to establishing a safe environment at our schools.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Mind Up

This week our focus is Lesson 9: Mindful Movement. For more details, view the sample lesson.

Valentines Day Parties

If your child's teacher is planning a Valentines celebration, please make sure any donated treats are store bought and individually wrapped. Also, if the class is exchanging Valentines, students will be hand sanitizing before and after passing them out to other students. If you would prefer your child not open them until they get home, please let your child's teacher know.

Thank you for all you do to help our students stay healthy and in school.

Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Friday, January 29th.

Important Dates for January/February
