Scratch Day
CSTA-Delaware sponsored event locations
The global Scratch Day event is almost here!
CSTA-Delaware is sponsoring two event locations in northern Delaware. For students in grades 3-5, the event will be located at Stanton Middle School. For students in grades 6-8, the event will be located at Serviam Girls Academy. The event will run from 9 AM-12:30 PM at both locations on Saturday, May 14th, 2016!
Due to the high number of elementary students that registered, those that are on the wait list will be selected to attend Scratch Day at Serviam Girls Academy. We will contact you to confirm that you are able to attend at this location.
This is a great opportunity for students with little to no experience with Scratch to come up and begin learning how to code. Students will rotate through a few different training sessions to learn about some of the different things you can make with Scratch as a beginner. Parents will get to enjoy the fun too as they go through the workshops with their kids.
We will also announce the theme for our Delaware Coding Challenge-Spring Edition!
