Spain Park High School 11/01/19
A Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
I want to remind you of our Veterans Day Celebration on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in the SPHS Theater, starting at 6:30 with a reception to follow. The Spain Park Marching Band, SPHS Jazz Band, and the SPHS Choirs will perform, along with a special performance by the Rocky Ridge Elementary School Chorus. We look forward to recognizing our Veterans and those who are actively serving our country.
I would like to wish the SPHS Theatre Department the best of luck as they present “The Nose” at the District Trumbauer Competition on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Mountain Brook High School. Our students had the privilege of seeing the production during the Jag period this past Wednesday. It was an excellent performance and well-received.
Congratulations are in order to our SPHS Cross Country team members who qualified for the State Competition on November 9, 2019. From the girls team-Mackenzie Culpepper, Holland Lidiakay, Anna Lidikay, from the boys team-Max Smith, Keith Warner, Kenneth Bishop. Go Jags!
Finally, a big thank you to our senior Football Players, Band Members, Colorguard Members, Dazzlers, Saphires, Majorettes, Cheerleaders, and Student Trainers for all they have done for Spain Park High School over the years. We will recognize these wonderful Seniors tonight as they participate in their final Friday night football game at Spain Park High School.
As always, I am available to hear your feedback on how we can make SPHS a great place to be.
Respectfully,
Peter L. Giangrosso
