Welcome Back!

I hope this message finds you and finds you well.

The purpose of this newsletter is to update you on the welcoming of students back to five days of in-person learning. The teachers and staff are excited to welcome students back on Monday, April 12th. Below you will find information that we hope you find helpful and important information about how our school will operate for the rest of the year.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

  • The Health screener will no longer be used per the district's Health & Safety plan.

  • We will keep the same daily block schedule – 8:10 to 1:05 – with the difference being both blue & gold students will attend five days per week.

  • Students will still need to carry backpacks as we will not utilize lockers per the Health & Safety plan.

  • Students are expected to wear a mask.

  • All classrooms will have desks that are six feet apart.

  • Some classrooms have had to be reassigned. See the chart below for details.

  • Some students needed to have minor schedule changes to allow for classes to maintain six feet distancing.

  • Classrooms will continue to be wiped down/sprayed as often as possible.

  • Classes will be taking advantage of the warmer weather and going outside more than we typically do.

  • Students will be reminded of social distancing practices to keep them safe in the hallway, stairwells, and throughout the building.

  • Grab & Go Breakfast and lunch will continue to be distributed.

  • Parent material pickup or drop-off: we ask that parents continue to use our tables in the building's vestibule for either picking up materials or dropping off forgotten items. Please note that it is unnecessary to bring in your child's chrome book – we have loaners available.

Arrival & Dismissal

  • Car riders - Arrival

    • Please arrive at the building between 7:55 and 8:10

    • All students should report to their first block class.

  • Car riders - Dismissal (this will be tricky!)

    • First, we ask for your patience as we navigate this process.

    • Entering off Bridge Street - you will enter the traffic circle by making a left as you typically would.

    • Entering off of 202 - you will make a right into the MS staff parking lot to access the traffic circle.

    • We will have multiple people directing traffic as well.

  • Bus information is located on the Home Access Center.

From The Attendance Office:

  • Attendance reporting is a State-mandated requirement. Whether your child is expected to attend school in person or virtual, a parent OR guardian must notify us of an absence, preferably before 8 AM or no later than the following three school days. Please use this email address- -to contact us.
  • To avoid any "unexcused absence" marking, please be sure to state the reason for the absence and provide supporting documentation (doctor's note) if applicable. Also, as a courtesy, have your child alert their teachers when they cannot access instruction virtually. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
  • In keeping with our Health & Safety plan protocol, students who are in-person learners are expected to be present and not choose to be virtual unless authorized to do so.
  • Picking up or dropping off your child during school hours, you have an option for contactless communication by either using your cell phone to access our QR code located on the Middle School door or call the office @ 215-862-0608.


April Calendar


We will continue to move through our current four-day rotation schedule indefinitely and regardless of whether we are in for a full day or a half-day. Please refer to the Calendar attached above for the times for the next two weeks of class.

Day 1 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8

Day 2 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 1, 3, 5, 7

Day 3 - B Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8
