Dealey Montessori

August 30, 2022

Alone we can do so little; Together we can do so much!!!

The mission of George Bannerman Dealey is to provide an exemplary education that develops and empowers all students to become productive citizens in our global society.

Dealey Dragons,

I can't believe we are heading into our third week! So many celebrations and highlights happen throughout the year, that I'd like to highlight in the newsletter. One important day this week is Maria Montessori's birthday. We celebrate her life by starting Peaceful Wednesdays again this year! This is an opportunity for our entire student body and staff to connect via zoom and share meditation breathing exercises.

Take a moment to read through all the special moments happening throughout the halls.

Sincerely,

Cristina Ibarra (Principal)

Dr. Montessori's Celebration of Life

This week honor and teach your students about Maria Montessori's timeline. Her legacy lives on in the work that you do every day with our students!

Full Circle Moment

Our upper elementary teacher Mr. Kaufmann was thrilled to see Mr. Serrato join the Dealey family this year. Mr. Serrato, use to be a student of Mr. Kaufmann at Harry Stone Montessori. One of Serrato's favorite memories of being in Mr. Kaufmann's class was learning with the K'NEX and building roller coasters.

Mr. Kaufmann surprised Mr. Serrato with a K'NEX and shared the moment with his lower elementary students. He will now be able to share science lessons with his students using the tools and experience he learned from Mr. Kaufmann.
