Free Parking
Please let Ellie and Elena know if you DO NOT intend to take advantage of your front row parking. We don’t like those slots left empty so if you’re not going to park there, someone else will! When they’re empty but marked as “Reserved” it discourages others who need parking from using the space and you know how badly we need parking spaces around here! Thank you!

From the Queen Bee
The district is looking for a teacher to represent our campus on a Professional Learning Council. The Council will bring together representation from the campuses with Teaching & Learning to build the 2019-2020 professional learning calendar. This group will get feedback and input from their campus so a consensus on the offerings and the schedules can be reached. The first meeting of this council is Thursday from 4:00-5:00.
At Staff Advisory, the teachers shared that they want to have a say in how many work days we have and when they are placed on the calendar. If you look at next year’s calendar, we have 5 days during the year for “Professional Development/Workday” and of those, 3 have been submitted for a TEA Waiver. The Waiver allows us to count those minutes towards the total for students – the same thing we did this year. We’ll determine which days are PD and which are workday. Also, this group will help us determine when and how to offer sessions for the “Flex” days (formerly Comp days).
The ultimate goal is to come up with a calendar and professional learning that is meaningful, helpful, and that we take into account campus and teacher voice.
Please send Ellie an email today if you are interested in representing Cibolo Creek on the Professional Learning Council.
