Mrs. Robinson's Greeting

Hi Families! What a weekend! Once again we have witnessed a historical event. Congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris! Joe Biden earned the most votes of any presidential nominee and did it all while having a speech impediment. Kamala Harris is the FIRST woman Vice President, FIRST Black Woman Vice President, and the FIRST East Asian Woman Vice President.

As my children and I watched their speeches I could not help but see all your babies following in their footsteps. Your babies show up and show out every day! You have done an awesome job as the first teacher and choosing the Carver Village as the place to continue their learning.

Virtual Enrollment Fair November 6th to 13th

If you have a child starting pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, MIDDLE SCHOOL or high school next year, you are invited to attend the PreK-12 Virtual Enrollment Fair.

When: Happening now! (see schedule)

Town Halls: To replace tables at the fair, schools will host Town Halls, which are Zoom meetings where families can talk to school staff directly.

School Videos: To replace in-person school tours, each school has created a 4-5 minute video showcasing their programs, curriculum, and community. These videos will be promoted before and during the fair to families and have translated subtitles. They will be hosted on SFUnified’s YouTube channel and will be available after the fair.

Join the Carver Beacon Online!

The Boys and Girls Club Beacon at Carver is accepting applications for virtual programming. Virtual programming includes ZOOM academic support for students during the school day and virtual enrichment programs like Video Game Academy, Digital Art, and Virtual Fitness.
