4th Meeting of the Month
- SEL (Social Emotional Learning) is one of our district initiatives. It is imperative that students learn how to work together, understand their feeling and emotions and understand that they are not alone on an isolated island in this universe. It requires educators and all school personnel to interact and build relationships with students in a positive and supportive manner.
Instead of for formally meeting, I will create a Smore Class Activity that you can complete with your grade level team at your convenience (Before, After, or During the school day). This link will be email to you next week with a due date for completed materials.
Special Education Team Only Reminder:
- From email sent last week: My name is Cindy Elayoubi (pronounced ELA-YOU-BE). I will be presenting on how to conduct a Functional Behavioral Assessment on 2/24/16 for your after school professional development meeting. Due to time restraints, I would appreciate if you would take time to complete the attached survey so we can focus the training to meet areas of needs. Your responses will be strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone but myself.

Education is a very personal thing. We at Seylar believe that every child has the right to achieve their highest potential and for them to be inspired, to dream, to be excited, and to have pride within themselves and for their school community. Our mission is to combine these beliefs with your child’s innate passions and love for learning to bring together a mind’s on approach, where students are engaged, challenged, and supported so they can achieve their personal best.
