End 68 Hours of Hunger Program Information
It's Read-a-thon Time!
Dear Greenfield Families and Friends,
We made it through another full week of school without any delays or snow days! Mother Nature is making it hard to know how to dress for recess with the crazy temperature changes lately! Our playground is pretty shaded this time of year so the snow takes a while to melt. Please send your child's snow gear, including snow pants, gloves, boots and hats for recess each day. While the temps may be a little warmer next week we still encourage students to wear snow gear to stay dry! No one likes learning in wet clothes!
Our Read-a-Thon has officially started! We kicked it off with a whole school meeting yesterday and challenged students to accumulate 3.500 minutes over the next week. We will be dropping everything and reading together as a school each day from 9:05-9:15 to help meet that goal. Teachers sent home flyers and emailed the sign up information yesterday. Please share with family and friends to help us reach our goal of 100% participation and earning over $2000 this year. In case you missed it, the link and teacher codes to sign your child up are below.
