Report cards were emailed to parents and students on June 29. Please carefully read the teachers comments to provide context for the grades provided. Contact Ms. Poulin if you did not receive your son's report. Final grades will now be available in OnCampus.


Congratulations to students who achieved high honours (90% or above) in their final overall average for the 2021-22 school year. We are also extremely proud of the students who received the highest possible Effort and Conduct scores in every one of their subjects this term. Certificates will be awarded to these students in September.

Summer hours at the school are in effect from Monday June 27 until the end of August: Monday – Thursday 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:30 and Friday 8:30 – 1:00. It's possible that for public health reasons, access to the school may change throughout the summer. We suggest that you call ahead to ensure there is someone available to receive you at reception: (514)-931-9481.


“Back to School” Updates in August: Please note that the MS Back to School Updates (for students entering Grade 7&8) and SS Back to School Updates (for students entering Grade 9) containing important documents and information for the 2022-23 academic year will be emailed beginning in mid-August. Please ensure that we have your correct and up-to-date email address. Please notify Kelli Poulin of any changes.


2022-23 Pre-season soccer and football training schedules, which begin in August, will be posted on the Athletics webpage as they become available.


What to expect for the first week of school (Monday, August 29 - Friday, September 2):

  • Pre-season soccer and football training may continue into this week.

  • Monday, August 29 - Pedagogical Day. No school for Grade 7&8 students.

  • Tuesday, August 30 from 8am-2:45pm - Grade 7 orientation including laptop distribution. No school for Grade 8 students.

  • Wednesday, August 31 from 8am-2:45pm - Grade 8 orientation including laptop distribution. No school for Grade 7 students.

  • Thursday, September 1 from 8am-2:45pm - Regular Classes for all Grade 7&8 students.

  • Friday, September 2 from 8am-2:45pm - Regular Classes for all Grade 7&8 students including phys ed classes for Grades 7&8 from 1:30-2:45pm.

Phys. Ed. Selection for students entering Grade 8 in September: Please find a complete list of the MS phys. ed. offerings for 2022-23 here. We ask that you discuss the phys. ed. options at home and complete the Fall Phys. Ed. Course Selection. Winter and spring phys. ed. selection will take place in advance of those trimesters. If you have any questions about the course offerings or our athletic program, please contact Mr. Mike Maurovich, Director of Athletics.


Arts Course Selection for students entering Grade 8 in September: Next year, we're introducing a digital arts course so since we'll have five courses to offer in our half-year rotation, we want to give you the opportunity to indicate where your interests lie! Please note: Students have already taken two half-year arts courses in Grade 7 and may not repeat these half-year courses in Grade 8. Complete this Arts Course Selection Form.

Back to School Prep:

Online School Supply Service: Next year’s supply lists for students entering Grade 7&8 are posted online here. Beginning June 25, students may purchase school supplies online for next September through Service Scolaire Editions Vaudreuil Inc. Please note that if you choose to use this service, a percentage of the total sales will be donated to a local children’s charity.


English Summer Reading Selections for students entering Grade 7 and Grade 8 are posted online HERE. Purchase at your preferred retailer, including local Montreal bookstore Babar Books, who have stocked all SHS required books in their online store. Click here to order from Babar Books. There are no French Summer Reading Assignments for students entering Grade 7&8 in September 2022.

Argyle Shop/School Uniform Announcement: Please visit our Argyle Shop webpage to review the Dress Code and buying guides before September. We strongly encourage parents to shop on our online store. If required, families can make appointments to visit the Argyle Shop in August. Please note: The Argyle Shop will be closed June 21-July 13, no orders will be processed during this time.
