Type 2 Diabetes is a lifestyle disease caused by bad eating habits and lack of exercise. Diabetes is a disease that causes your glucose levels to rise higher than they are supposed to be. The pancreas is not able to make enough insulin to keep these levels normal.
What causes this disease?
There are many factors that can cause this disease. The two main factors that cause Type 2 Diabetes are lack of exercise and bad eating habits.
Preventing the Disease and Affects
To prevent the disease one should exercise regularly, eat healthily, and watch sugar intake. Diabetes if untreated can cause death in some cases. Diabetes can cause a loss of extremities in extreme cases.
Statistics
90%-95% of diabetes is type 2, more common among older people, 8% of the population has diabetes.
