This summer

Welcome to Summer School! This is my first year teaching Summer School in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. I currently work at Eagle River Elementary School as the K-5 Interventionist, but I am looking forward to teaching Kindergarten this summer. Previously I was a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher in Lewiston, Minnesota. I am happy to be back in the Northwoods as a previous Hodag graduate and local.

This summer we are going to be exploring all the animals around the world! I am thrilled and excited to share my love of animals with the kids as we get many learning experiences through our traveling! Our first week we will be studying the animals in the Amazon Rain forest and we will be going on safari to Africa! Our second week we will continue on Safari and then travel to see the animals down under in Australia. Finally our last week we will travel from Australia and we will have to put on our winter clothes back in order to go down south to Antarctica and up north to the Arctic circle!

Summer School Objectives

Goals:

I am very excited to be able to share many wonderful opportunities and experiences about geography and animals as we travel around the globe. Students will also be focusing on developing social skills, math, and reading skills that will enhance them in their journey to Kindergarten!

Feel free to ask me questions, shoot me emails, or give me a call! I am available to service your kids so that they have the best time at Summer school!
