Powder Puff at 6:30 – Dunk Tank ($1 per ball - proceeds benefit theater department)

Chili Supper at 5:00-7:00 (TPCA cafeteria and front field) – Chili with toppings and drinks - $6 per person or $25 per family max
Bonfire 6:00-8:00 –Music – Student council will be selling spirit items for game.

Pep Rally at 1:50 – 2:20 – All school – band, cheer, team introductions, staff vs. student tug of war
Tailgating at 5:00 in Zionsville West Middle School Stadium Parking Lot – bring your own

Fall Sports Photos
Fall sport photos are ready to order! For your convenience, this year we have moved to digital ordering and digital photos. You will have the choice of one of two digital image packages: images delivered to you via a private link to download or a CD. Each package will include your child's individual photos as well as a team photo. To order your child's photos please visit

Winter Sports Online Registration
If you have a student athlete who is planning on playing a Winter Sport, please register them online from Monday, 9/15- Friday, 9/19. It is very important that we know ahead of time how many are interested in playing so that we can make appropriate decisions with B teams, scheduling, etc. We currently offer Boys and Girls Basketball from grades 5-12. Sign up HERE! If you already have an account you should be able to log in and simply click to add your student to a Winter Sport team, and not have to complete the entire registration process again.
TPCA Family Event: Night Under the Stars on September 27
The Traders Point Dad’s Club hosts A Night Under the Stars this year on Saturday, September 27th. This event is an annual favorite and will help us kick off our Homecoming Week. Featuring an outdoor movie on a giant screen, s’mores over a campfire, hot dogs and snacks, we have all you need for a night of family fun! Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs for the movie. Activities will be moved inside café and gym if weather is inclement. The event and dinner start at 6:30 and the movie begins at approximately 8:30 or dark. $25 per family before September 22, or $35 after. See You at the Pole - Wednesday, September 24th
See you at the Pole is a special annual nationwide prayer event led by and for students. Started by a student as a way to have prayer in our public schools, it has grown to include hundreds of public and private school students around the globe.
Grades K-4: Meet at the flagpole for chapel at 8:30 (weather permitting) Pastor Tim Thompson from TPCC will give the message. IF IT'S COLD OR RAINY, we will have chapel as normally scheduled in the cafeteria.

Grades 5-12 will meet at the flagpole at 7:30 AM to pray together as a student body before school.
Christian College Fairs
Students and parents interested in checking out Christian colleges and universities can attend a FREE fair to learn about all the Christian higher education options available.
The fair will be in the evening on Wed, October 1 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Heritage Christian and during the day on Thurs, October 2 from 11am-1pm at Covenant Christian.

Important Event THIS WEDNESDAY for 6th-8th Grade Families
You and your 6th -8th grade student are invited to join us on Wednesday, September 24 from 6:30-8:00 PM in room B233 at TPCC, to dream with us about what our new high school facilities should look like and include. In order to best equip you, staff will also spend a few minutes sharing updates on the latest news about our unique programming. High School is just around the corner for your student! Since this group, the Classes of 2019-2021, will likely graduate from our new facilities, your input is so important to them, to us and to our planning. Please make every effort to join us on the 24th, 6:30 PM at TPCC.
Lost and Found
Students and parents, please check the LOST AND FOUND in the cafeteria as all items not claimed will be donated to the Wheeler Mission barn next Friday, September 26.
There are many items that were left at the high school retreat as well as jackets, lunch boxes and other clothing left at the school and in the locker rooms.
Leadership Coffee on Friday September 26
Parents, please join us for our first Leadership Coffee of the year on September 26 at 8:30 AM in The Point at TPCC. Ron Evans, Head of School, will share with you all the latest information and updates on what's new at the school.
Indiana's College Go! Week
Next week, Sept 22-26, is Indiana's College Go! Week. Developed and supported by LearnMoreIndiana, it is a week of emphasizing the need for post-secondary education at all grade levels.
There will be a scholarship competition sponsored by LearnMoreIndiana . Students can pick up the flyer with details/entry form in the library. Students can win $529 in a college 529 Savings Plan. Submission deadline is Nov. 21. Contact Ms. Harris for more information email@example.com.

On Wednesday, Sept. 24, students should wear their favorite college t-shirt or sweatshirt to school.
Room Parent Fund
In the past, the room parents have asked for money from the parents in their respective classes. Starting last year, we began a new system of asking each family to donate to a general class fund. We found that this helps to lessen the financial burden on families with multiple children attending the Academy. All collected funds will be dispersed evenly amongst all classes. The suggested amount is $20.00 per FAMILY, not per student. This amount is a voluntary donation. We ask that you give what the Lord leads you to give. If you feel led to give more or less, we truly appreciate every donation.
These funds will be used for classroom parties, crafts, STAFF days and classroom needs. If there is a surplus at the end of the year, the teacher will be given the remainder to use at his/her discretion.
Please make checks payable to PTF-Room Parent Fund. You may turn in your envelope to the office or to your child’s teacher with “PTF – Room Parent Fund” written on the envelope. Thank you!

Host a Guatemalan exchange student this year for 2 months
TPCA is partnering this year with Intercultural Experiences, a short-term student visitor program in Guatemala. We already have four TPCA families who have signed on to host a student from October 19 – December 13 this fall. This wonderful organization has informed us that they still have 13 boys aged 15 – 17 that need a host family for this fall. Students have experienced a 6 month preparation program, speak English, come with their own insurance and spending funds and are here to experience the American culture and share with us about Guatemala as an ambassador of their country. If you feel called to open your home to one of these students and would like more information, please contact Mrs. Toni Kanzler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
