Athletic Announcements
We are excited for all our teams to begin competing starting this week and next week.
Please check out the latest guidance from the OSAA for games/practice/spectators.
Unfortunately, with a shortage of bus drivers in the district, there may be times when students will be responsible for their own transportation to/from contests. Each team will be communicating with their respective student-athletes as this continues to unfold.
Remember to refer to the school’s website for all the team’s schedules and results.
Sincerly,
Dale French
Athletic Director/Assistant Principal

Safety Updates
The state of Oregon is mandating that students and staff in K-12 schools wear masks indoors to limit spread of the highly contagious COVID-19 delta variant. Masks will be required for anyone inside of a school in Oregon this year, according to a directive from Gov. Kate Brown. Safety of all students and staff is the number one priority of SHS and Scappoose School District. If there are questions about the framework for safe returns to school, please reference the link for the Oregon Department of Education’s Ready School Safe Learners document.
Scappoose High School understands the concerns for student safety and the want to be back to a setting of normalcy. Every effort is being made to mitigate exposures to the Covid virus, in order to return to a sense of normalcy. SHS administrative team asks students to adhere to social distancing protocols, wearing masks with fidelity and attending school with entusiasm for learning and being around their peers.
