Protecting the Health of Individuals

The FDA's rules are somewhat effective in protecting the health of individuals who use the products. However, the FDA cannot look over every advertisement before it is viewed by the public, so violations do occur. Numerous warning letters are sent out each month to those whose ads do violate the rules. The rules and regulations were made to ensure no people are mislead or are not properly informed of the risks of a produuct.
