Get Moving!
Hello Leopards,
I hope you are continuing to give your best efforts during such trying times.
With #Dedication #Motivation #Perseverance #communityinvolvement , we can combine our superpowers and defeat any villain that comes our way☺️.
Just a few tips/suggestions
Can be done in your backyard, living room area, or any family designated areas.
Don’t have a fitness mat- use a towel
Don’t have weights- get a gallon or jug and fill with water
Don’t have tires- assembly your two towels in two circles on the floor.
Make sure to lift feet as so towels don’t move
Remember to consume room temperature water if needed. This allows the negative toxins to continue and flow out instead of going into shock with cold water.
Most of all, HAVE FUN, and remember to continue WASHING HANDS and practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING!
Spanish Lab Fun
¡Hola amigos!
For Spanish class, we are learning about pets and animals at the farm . I also included another video with movement for your student to follow along. If you can please guide your student to repeat after me, thank you!
En la clase de Español estamos aprendiendo sobre “Mascotas y animales de la granja.
También, agregue otro video adicional con movimiento para que su estudiante lo realice en casa. Si puede guiar a su hijo/a repetir después de mí, se lo agradecería mucho.

Andre' Art in Action
Dear Andre’ Parents and Leopards,
I hope you have been enjoying art time with your kids!
This week try Exploring ARTISTS in ART HISTORY:
*Get online and research an artist and their art style.
(read a book or read online and try out their art style)
*Tape paper under a chair and lay on your back to draw!
(Michelangelo painted a famous ceiling… look it up!)
*Draw by candlelight or moonlight! Colors and shapes will look
different by day and night!
(Monet was an expert at lights and darks… look it up!)
*Create using only two colors! Remember you can also mix these
colors to create new colors!
(van Gogh used only blue and gold in most paintings… look it up!)
*Watercolor light and dark ocean waves with fish and birds!
(Hokusai was famous for his ocean watercolors…look it up)
*Combine different animal parts to make a Surreal, unreal animal!
(Salvador Dali drew long giraffe legs on an elephant body and his art
style was Surrealism…look it up)
*Get out a soup can and draw it 4-times in the 4-corners of your paper,
then color each can really different with bright colors!
(Andy Warhol created “Pop Art” the same way…look it up)
*Mix up the parts of the face… draw the nose on the forehead, the
mouth on the cheek, an eye on the chin and an eye on a cheek, etc.
Use squares, circles, or triangles for eyes, mouth and nose!
(Pablo Picasso was famous for using different shapes and mixing up
parts on a page called Cubism…look it up)
*Color pictures in small squares of paper...glue next to each other on a
larger paper to make quilt art! Add a boarder around the edge!
(Faith Ringgold was famous for her colorful quilt designs…look it up)
*Use markers to dot an outline of a picture, then use more dots to fill in
(Seurat created wall sixe oil paintings using the same art style called
Pointillism…look it up)
*Cut and glue Red, Yellow, and Blue lines and shapes to create art
(Mondrian was famous for creating geometric art out primary colors…
Look it up)
*Draw on separate pieces of paper or cardboard; tape or glue string to
each; hang to create a 3D Mobile
(Calder was famous for his colorful mobiles…look it up)
Art Extension:
To extend your art projects and challenge our older leopards, try to use
one or more of the 7-Elements of Art listed below in your projects:
*Line: straight, curved, zig-zag, etc.
*Color: Primary (red, yellow, blue),
Secondary (violet, green, orange)
Hot (yellow, orange, red) or Cold (blue, green violet)
*Value: light and dark of a color (ex: navy blue, baby blue)
*Shape: 2D (ex: square, circle, rectangle, triangle)
*Form: 3D (ex: cube, cylinder, cone, pyramid)
*Space: up-close (ex: lower on paper) or far away (ex: up top on paper)
*Texture: feeling (ex: smooth, # lines for rough, dots for a sandy look)
Stay healthy and safe Andre’ Leopards!
