Families Dance the Night Away!
A big thanks to all the families that attended the 1st ever Gearity Family Dance. We also want to thank our DJ Mr. Sullivan, PBIS Team Member Ms. Ward and the PTA for helping make the dance happen. We had a great turnout and lots of food was donated!
Mrs. Higham gave nine Gearity families substantial food baskets and the rest was donated to the Heights Hunger Center. Overall, our generous staff and families donated 920 food items through homerooms and more than 100+ additional items at the dance. In total, we had more than 1000 food items donated. This is awesome!
Students and Medication
Safety in School
As a safety precaution, students may NOT carry medication on their person or in bookbags while at school. Adults need to know if a child is taking a medication to ensure that children use the medication properly and get nursing support as needed.
Medications can only be administered in school with a doctor's AND parents' permissions per district policy. Forms are available in the school office for both prescription and non-prescription medications. Please return the completed form to the school office. All medication must be delivered to the school in the original pharmacy container by an adult.
If you have questions, please call the main office and request to speak to the school nurse (Laura DeLambo RN).
